Eclipse Tour 2008 - Mongolia
August 1, 2008

"Ever since Genghis Khan encouraged his people to live by the sword, not the plow, Mongolians have been nomadic herders, holding to their horse-based culture and leaving vast tracks of ruggedly beautiful countryside virtually untouched over the centuries." - 1,000 Places To See Before You Die by Patricia Schultz

On August 1, 2008 Sirius Travel will lead a group to Western Mongolia to see a total eclipse of the sun. Totality at our site will be approximately 2 minutes, 10 seconds. We have selected Mongolia as our observing site because out of the areas on the eclipse path that will provide the best chance of a clear sky on August 1, Mongolia has the maximum eclipse duration.
Land Cost from: $4150* per person
